Mahipalgad is recognised as the village inside the fort, there are many old and ancient temple inside the fort, the ancient caves are famous among the tourist to visit in the mahipalgad. Other then cave there are many old temples are there. Just near to watch tower in the fort an ancient shiva temple can be visited, which is renovated recently, shiva linga is worshipped in this temples. There is a old bhavani temple inside the village, its popular as arogya bhavani temple, from outside it looks like a home but inside there is a mukha mantapa, sabha mantapa and garbha graham, the temple is build using rock stone and goddess bhavani statue is worshipped in the garbha graham. A kalyani can be found just near the temple which is in the ruined condition.
